warum gescheitert: Dieser Kurzfilm ist vermutlich daran gescheitert, dass er ein offenes Ende hat und letztlich nicht erklärt wird, wozu die Verteidigung dient. Von einem Feind ist nämlich bis zum Schluss nichts zu sehen. Der Film ist kein Unterhaltungsfilm und würde vom Zuschauer eigenes Nachdenken erfordern. Die Vorlage stammt vom Klassiker des Scheiterns am Leben im 20. Jhd., Franz Kafka. Der Film hatte noch keine Premiere und wurde abgelehnt bei den Festivals Oberhausen, Toronto, Hamburg, Cannes und Hof. Er hat allerdings das Prädikat "wertvoll" von der FBW erhalten.
Unser Kommentar: Sollte es mal „in“ werden sich ein Ohr abzuschneiden, dann hätten alle
Optiker ein Problem. Das gleiche dürfte den Radlbauer mit den zukünftigen
Einbeinigen passieren. Die Szenen werden gottseidank immer im Halbdunkel
gehalten. Sonst bekäme ja manch einer Lust sich nach dem Piercen noch
ne Axt neben das Bett zu legen. Steile Musik und die Botschaft: Schön ist ein
ganz mieses Vorurteil. Also vor dem Anschauen nen Schnaps trinken.
